Bangladesh national cricket team opener Saif Hassan has recovered from Covid-19. The right handed batsman has tested negative 14 days after he tested positive. He will soon join the training camp provided he doesn't feel weak.

He took to Facebook and said, "Alhamdulillah! I have Tested Covid negative today. I was tested positive 14 days ago and later I went into self-isolation. But, my parents and my sister did a lot for me and I even forgot at one point that I was covid positive. They did everything they could possibly do for me. My brother Sujon Ahmed was with me the whole time. He was there with me like my own brother. And also Jaseem bhai and Naim guided me everyday."

"Really grateful to have them in my life. Thanks to all of you who've supported me mentally. And also a big thanks to those who prayed for me. In shaa allah, I will return to the field pretty soon. Keep me in your prayers. JazakAllah Khair," Saif added.

Saif Hassan tested positive on September 8. Since then he has been in self-isolation at home. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) included him in the 27-mean squad announced ahead of the Sri Lanka.
