Ronaldo's absence means we will be denied a highly-anticipated showdown with Lionel Messi in Juventus' second Champions League match.

Cristiano Ronaldo has slammed his coronavirus testing after being ruled out of Juventus' Champions League clash against Barcelona.

The Portuguese forward tested positive while on international duty and has since been in quarantine at his home in Turin.

Ronaldo had hoped to return a negative test before the Barcelona game. He took a PCR test on Tuesday but, despite being asymptomatic, the test came back positive.

In an Instagram post, the 35-year-old said he was "feeling good and healthy" but that the "PCR IS BULL****".

It seems he's far from happy with the efficiency of the swab tests used to test for Covid-19.

Ronaldo's absence means we will be denied a highly-anticipated showdown with Lionel Messi in Juventus' second Champions League match.
