Rashid spins Afghanistan to historic win
Bangladesh were all out for 173 as the Afghans clinched a famous win.
Afghanistan have defeated Bangladeshy by 224 runs in the only test at Chattogram. Rashid Khan was the man of the match for his fifty and 11 wickets.
Bangladesh started their innings after Lunch as rain stopped play from resuming since morning. But only 13 balls were bowled before they had go off again because of rain. Shakib Al Hasan and Soumya Sarkar came to bat again after Tea before Shakib was caught by afsar Zazai off Zahir Khan as the Bangladeshi skipper looked to cut. Soumya put up a brief stand of 23 runs with Mehidy Hasan before Mehidy was trapped LBW off Rashid Khan. The Afghan skipper then took the wicket of Taijul Islam, but replays showed that there was an inside edge. Soumya tried to see off the overs with Nayeem Hasan, but was caught at short-leg off Rashid as the Afghans clinched a famous victory.
This was the second victory for the Afghans in their third match. They become the second quickest country to reach two victories in Tests.
