Afghan-Rahmat century stand frustrates Bangladesh

Afghanistan had an excellent second session as they piled on the runs against hosts Bangladesh on the first day of the Chottogram Test at 191-3.

Asghar Afghan and Rahmat Shah produced a brilliant counter-attacking partnership where they took 114 runs in the session.

Rahmat is three runs short of his century while Afghan is on 48 and they both played the spinners excellently. 

Captain Shakib Al Hasan decided to go once again with an all-out spin attack.

Taijul Islam took two wickets in the first session to reach 100 Test wickets, the fastest by a Bangladeshi and the third Bangladeshi bowler to reach the milestone.
