Cricketers had to be indoors for about four months because of the outbreak of Covid-19. After a long hiatus, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) finally made four grounds across the country available for cricketers to practice. But bad weather has been creating problems for the last couple of days.

As per the schedule, Mushfiqur Rahim, Shafiul Islam, Imrul Kayes and Mehedi Hasan Rana turned up at Sher-E-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS) in Mirpur on Tuesday morning. Despite the rain, Mushfiqur did a running session at SBNCS while Imrul, Shafiul and Rana did so at the academy ground.

Mushfiqur enjoyed the pinpricks of raindrops after the running session for some time. The 33-year old himself recorded the video of the running session and posted it on his official Facebook page.

Imrul, Shafiul and Rana did not opt themselves out from practice despite the bad weather as well.

Fast bowler Khaled Ahmed did some running at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium. He was supposed to do some fielding practice too, only interrupted by the rain. All-rounder Mahedi Hasan practiced at Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna. Nurul Hasan Sohan and Mehidy Hasan Miraz had no practice on Tuesday according to the schedule. Off-spinner Nayeem Hasan had his day off as well in Chattogram.

Responding to cricketers' requests, BCB allowed them to start practising from Sunday. Initially, nine of them enrolled themselves but the number is twelve now. Fast bowler Taskin Ahmed is supposed to join from Thursday.
