Bangladesh’s fast bowler Al Amin Hossain said their next goal in this game is to make India bat again and thereby avoid an innings defeat.

After making it to day-3 in Kolkata Test, Bangladesh's fast bowler Al Amin Hossain said their next goal in this game is to make India bat again and thereby avoid an innings defeat.

"It's really tough to bat first 30 overs of the innings with the pink ball. We failed to pass first 30 overs in the first innings, but in the second innings, we did it well. Now our main target is to score 90 runs and avoid the innings defeat. We want to send India to bat again in this game," Al Amin told the media.

Bangladesh were bowled out for 106 in the first innings of Kolkata Test.

They were out of answers against the pace-bowling attack of India.

Ishant Sharma bagged five wickets conceding only 22 runs, which was his second five-for at home with the first one coming 12 years ago against Pakistan.

In reply, India posted 347/9 and secured a lead of 241 runs riding on the 27th Test ton of Virat Kohli.

At the end of day-2, Bangladesh scored 152 for six wickets as Ishant continued to rule over the Bangladeshi batsmen.

He took four wickets in the second innings so far.

"They (Indian pacers) played a lot of Tests. They know how to bowl well in Test cricket and how to force the batsmen to make errors. You have to find out the ways to remove the batsmen in Test cricket so that you can taste the ultimate success. In this are, they are far ahead of us," Al Amin added.
