Naim added to the squad for 3rd ODI; likely to replace Liton

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) confirmed the news through a press release on Wednesday.

Opener Naim Sheikh has been added to the squad for the 3rd ODI against Sri Lanka. 

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) confirmed the news through a press release on Wednesday. 

"Opening batsman Naim Sheikh has been added to the Bangladesh squad for the 3rd and final ODI against Sri Lanka on 28 May," the press release read.

No one else has been dropped from the existing squad.

Naim is supposed to replace Liton Das in the playing eleven in the third ODI. Liton has been in a poor form recently. He managed to score 0 and 25 in thr first two ODI respectively. 

Bangladesh have already sealed their first-ever series victory against Sri Lanka. 

Bangladesh squad for 3rd ODI:
Tamim Iqbal (Captain), Liton Das, Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim, Mohammad Mithun, Mahmudullah, Afif Hossain, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Mohammad Saifuddin, Taskin Ahmed, Mustafizur Rahman, Soumya Sarkar, Mosaddek Hossain, Mahedi Hasan, Shoriful Islam, Naim Sheikh.
