Naeem, Anamul included in BCB XI for practice match vs Afghans

Players like Naeem Islam and Anamul Haque Bijoy have been included in the 14-member squad to play a two-day practice game against Afghanistan.

The match will be played on September 1 and 2 at MA Aziz Stadium in Chattogram.

Rashid Khan-led Afghanistan arrived in Chattogram yesterday. The solitary Test between Bangladesh and Afghanistan will take place at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram from September 5. 

Bangladesh team had a 10-day practice camp at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium under new head coach Russell Domingo. 

After the one-off Test, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and Zimbabwe will play a tri-series T20.

BCB XI squad: Fardin Ani, Sabbir Hossain, Al Amin (Jr.), Naeem Islam, Anamaul Haque Bijoy, Qazi Nurul Hasan Sohan, Fazle Mahmud Rabbi, Manik Khan, Salauddin Shakil, Jubaer Hossain Likhon, Mehidy Hasan Rana, Asadullah Galib and Irfan Shukkur.
