Bangladesh have announced their squad for the two-match T20I series against Zimbabwe at home.

The squad sees three players dropped from the Tigers' latest series against Pakistan. Mohammad Mithun, Rubel Hossain and Nazmul Hossain Shanto have been dropped whereas Mushfiqur Rahim and Mohammad Saifuddin made a return to the side and Nasum Ahmed earned his first call-up.

Mushfiq had opted out of the Pakistan tour and Saifuddin was unavailable because of injury. Nasum comes off an impressive Bangabandhu Bangladesh Premier League (BBPL) where he caught the eye with some tight bowling in the powerplay.

Bangladesh squad: Mahmudullah (C), Tamim Iqbal, Soumya Sarkar, Naim Sheikh, Liton Das, Mushfiqur Rahim, Afif Hossain, Mohammad Saifuddin, Mahedi Hasan, Aminul Islam Biplob, Mustafizur Rahman, Shafiul Islam, Al-Amin Hossain, Hasan Mahmud, Nasum Ahmed
