Mosaddek under observation following neck injury

Sylhet Thunder skipper Mosaddek Hossain is under observation after he injured his neck during batting. 

Mosaddek attempted a dive to save his wicket in the 12th over in their match against Rangpur Rangers in the Bangabandhu Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) T20 2019. His dive did not save him rather he hurt his neck in the process. He left the field with clear discomfort and did not come out to field in the second innings of the match. 

Sylhet Thunder Media Manager Amlan Mostakim Hossain confirmed that Mosaddek was under observation following his injury and he will be further assessed by the Physio for the next couple of hours. Mr Amlan also informed that the physio will decide whether Mosaddek will require a scan or not. 

Sylhet lost their match to Rangpur Rangers by the margin of seven wickets and this was the side's seventh defeat of the tournament.
