The much-awaited Annual General Meeting and elections of Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited held today at the city's Le Meridien hotel. The Bangladesh Cricket Board's (BCB) chief selector Minhazul Abedin Nannu was there to cast his vote in the election. There, he expressed his hopes of seeing Mohammedan SC back to its glory days once again.

Mohammedan Sporting Club, the Black and Whites, was one of the most successful clubs in Bangladesh football. Especially, back in the 1980s, they were ruthless and were winning trophies for fun.

Nannu said that he follows the team thoroughly and analyses their performances on the pitch. He seemed hopeful of their recent performances.

"I do follow how Mohammedan are doing in football and analyze what's going on. We always try our best to perform better than others," said Nannu after he cast his vote in the election.

"I really enjoyed the way Mohammedan played against Abahani in Cumilla a few months ago. There were few glimpses of our good old football there."

The club has not won a football league title for almost two decades now. But, Nannu believes the club's glory days will be back soon and they will again win trophies for fun.

"I really believe our glory days will be back soon," Nannu concluded.
