Mashrafe gives financial support to 82 coaches

The gifts were handed over to 82 coaches of Dhaka Metropolitan at Abahani Ground in Dhaka on Tuesday. Mortaza could not be present because of personal reasons but he thanked everyone involved over the phone.

Mashrafe gives financial support to 82 coaches

Mashrafe Bin Mortaza has provided financial assistance to 82 cricket coaches of Dhaka Metropolitan. Each of them has received Taka 3,000 as 'Eid gift' from Mortaza's 'Narail Express Foundation'.

The gifts were handed over to 82 coaches of Dhaka Metropolitan at Abahani Ground in Dhaka on Tuesday. Mortaza could not be present because of personal reasons but he thanked everyone involved over the phone.

Mortaza put his favourite bracelet on auction to help the affected people due to Coronavirus. It was sold for Taka 42 lac and Mortaza promptly informed that he would utilize 25 lac of them on the welfare of the people of Narail.

He also revealed his plans to utilize the rest of the money and helping the coaches were a part of the plan.

Mortaza, member of parliament for the Narail-2 constituency, has been monitoring the Covid-19 situation of Narail thoroughly and helping the vulnerable people through his foundation. Apart from government aid, Mortaza provided food to three hundred workless families in Narail. He also donated half of the monthly salary he got from BCB. After that, he provided food to 1,200 families in Narail on his own.

Mortaza provided 500 Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to Covid-19 frontliners in Narail and his mobile medical team has been tirelessly working to battle Coronavirus. 

Mortaza, along with Tamim, Shakib, Mushfiq and Mahmudullah, gave one Lac Taka each to the team boys. He has been involved in a lot humanitarian works like these.
