Mahmudullah Riyad, Bangladesh national team skipper for T20Is, has tested negative for Covid-19. He tested positive on November 8. He was supposed to fly to Pakistan to play for the Multan Sultans in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) but could not do so.
Mahmudullah himself confirmed this through a Facebook status on his official page. He wrote, "Assalamualaikum. Alhamdulillah, by the grace of Almighty Allah, I have been tested corona negative yesterday. Now will try to be back on the field as soon as possible In Sha Allah. Thanks for all of your prayers, love and support."
The all-rounder will play for Gemcon Khulna in the upcoming Bangabandhu T20 cup which is scheduled to begin on November 24.
