Liton Das has gone back for 29 after he put up a good opening stand with Naim Sheikh for 59 runs.
Liton's dismissal was bizarre as he cluelessly ran after failing to hit a Yuzvendra Chahal delivery, the ball did not go too far as Rishabh Pant hit the stumps and amended his mistakes.
Earlier, Liton survived a double scare.
Liton was stumped off Chahal in the third ball of the sixth over, but Indian wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant collected the ball ahead of the stumps and thus the delivery was adjudged a no-ball and Liton survived.
Liton again survived in the next over as Rohit Sharma dropped an easy catch after Liton had skied a Washington Sundar delivery.
Earlier, India won the toss and their skipper Rohit Sharma invited Bangladesh to bat first.
Both sides have gone with the same eleven in this match.
Bangladesh beat India by seven wickets in the first match at Delhi to lead the series by 1-0.
