The Englishman joined the team and will be playing their next match.
English pace-bowling allrounder Liam Plunkett joined Bangabandhu BPL team Chattogram Challengers.
Plunkett already joined the squad--Challengers assured the news through a Facebook post on Thursday.
Plunkett is a regular in the franchisee T20 leagues. Last season he played in the BPL for Sylhet Sixers.
Plunkett played 148 T20s, scoring 800 runs and picking up 136 wickets. A regular for the England team in the shorter formats, he was an integral part of the World Cup-winning team of 2019.
Meanwhile, Challengers confirmed that their Captain Mahmudullah Riyad will not be available for the Chattogram phase of the tournament.
The veteran batsman is suffering from a recurring hamstring injury.
