Leg-spinner Aminul eyes the Bangabandhu T20 Cup as his launchpad

"It's going to be a stage to prove our mettle again as we are away from T20 cricket for a while now. We will get good chances to have some T20 match practice under our belt before international cricket returns," said the youngster.

Leg-spinner Aminul Islam Biplob who made his international debut in September last year is looking forward to making an impact in the upcoming Bangabandhu T20 cup and taking it to be a preparatory tournament for international cricket. 

The 20-year old will play for the Fortune Barishal in the Bangabandhu T20 cup that is going to begin on Novembers 24. He is training rigorously ahead of the tournament. 

"It's going to be a stage to prove our mettle again as we are away from T20 cricket for a while now. We will get good chances to have some T20 match practice under our belt before international cricket returns," said the youngster.

Biplob is all set to give his level best in the tournament to prove himself. "I have my own plans. A T20 tournament is going to be held after a long time. I will try to adjust as quickly as possible. I will take one step at a time and want to progress match by match. I will try my best to perform every game," he mentioned. 

The youngster in this tournament will play under Tamim Iqbal. He will also get the likes of Afif Hossain, Taskin Ahmed, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Abu Jayed Rahi as teammates. "Our team is well-balanced. We have in our team the players who have done well of late. We will definitely play for the championship," Biplob signed off.
