Head to head: Bangladesh vs Afghanistan

Although Bangladesh can be considered favourites, Afghanistan have won quite a few ODI's against the Tigers.

Head to head: Bangladesh vs Afghanistan

Bangladesh and Afghanistan are set to resume their budding rivalry when they face off against each other in the ICC World Cup 2019 at England.

The Tigers are currently sixth in the points table while Afghanistan have been knocked out and are placed bottom at ten.

Bangladesh vs Afghanistan in World Cups

Total matches: 1

Bangladesh wins: 1

Afghanistan wins: 0

Bangladesh vs Afghanistan in ODI’s

Total matches: 7

Bangladesh wins: 4

Afghanistan wins: 3

A win for Bangladesh here would keep them in line for making the top four and reaching the semis whereas a loss here would almost certainly mean curtains though there would be a slim chance of qualification if England lose all their games and Bangladesh win their remaining two and no other team below the top four gets more than seven points.
