Emerging Cricket: Bangladesh to play Pakistan in final Saturday

The match will kick-off at 9 am at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur. 

Title-aspirants Bangladesh will play two-time runners-up of Emerging Teams Asia Cup against Pakistan in the final of eight-nation ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup Under-23 Cricket Championship on Saturday. 

The match will kick-off at 9 am at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur. 

Earlier, Bangladesh reached final eliminating Afghanistan by 7 wickets in their 2nd semifinal on Thursday.

Hosts Bangladesh emerged as unbeaten Group B champions beating Hong Kong by 9 wickets in the first match, India by 6 wickets in the second match and Nepal by 8 wickets in the third and last group match.

Pakistan confirmed their spot in final eliminating arch-rival India by 3 runs in a nerve-shattering first semifinal last Wednesday.

Pakistan also maintained an impressive all-win record in Group A beating Afghanistan by 8 wickets in their first match, Sri Lanka by 90 runs in the second match and Oman by 147 runs in their third and last group match.
