EBL BGCC Amateur Golf Championship kicks off in Chattogram

Major General S M Matiur Rahman, OSP, afwc, psc ,GOC, 24 Infantry Division and Area Commander, Chattogram Area and President of BGCC and Md. Showkat Ali Chowdhury, Chairman of Eastern Bank Ltd. formally inaugurate the EBL 29 th BGCC Amateur Golf Championship 2020 at Bhatiary Golf and Country Club in Chattogram today, February 21.

A golf tournament for amateur golfers begins at Bhatiary Golf and Country Club (BGCC) in Chattogram today, February 21, Nearly 200 women and men golfers are competing for championship in different categories. Organised by Bhatiary Golf and Country Club the tournament is sponsored by Eastern Bank Ltd (EBL). 

Major General S M Matiur Rahman, OSP, afwc, psc, GOC, 24 Infantry Division and Area Commander, Chattogram Area and also the President of BGCC and Md. Showkat Ali Chowdhury, Chairman of Eastern Bank Ltd. formally inaugurated the tournament this morning.

Brig. General Mohammad Shamsuzzaman, aowc, psc, Commandant, EBRC, Chittagong Cantonment, Chattogram. EBL Directors Meah Mohammed Abdur Rahim and Mufakkharul Islam Khasru, Area Head, Corporate Banking-Chattogram Iftekhar Uddin Chowdhury and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.

Award presentation ceremony will be held tomorrow, February 22 evening at the Bhatiary Golf and Country Club. BGCC president as the chief guest will give away prizes among the winners. EBL Managing Director and CEO Ali Reza Iftekhar and others dignitaries will also be present.
