Ousmane Dembele’s agent, Mousa Sissoko has confirmed that Dembele will not be leaving Barcelona this summer.

Barcelona have been trying to strike a deal for their former star Neymar with PSG, and PSG have demanded players like Dembele and Nelson Semedo to be included in the deal.

The latest reports have stated that PSG wants 100 million Euros plus Dembele and Semedo, whereas Barcelona are willing to offer them 170 million Euros in installments. Another rumor running strong is that Barcelona have offered PSG 125 million Euros, Ivan Rakitic and Dembele on loan for a year. But the statement of Dembele’s agent has now put water on the rumors as Dembele was rumored to be part of the Neymar deal.

“He will be staying at Barça - 100%. There is no chance of him leaving. He wants to stay and triumph with Barça,” Sissoko told Téléfoot.

Thomas Tuchel, who was Dembele’s manager during the players stint at Borussia Dortmund, rates the French winger highly and is desperate to get him at Paris. On the contrary, Barcelona think of the youngster as their future star and thus are only willing to give him on loan for a year so that the Frenchman returns to Camp Nou improved and matured. Neymar is willing to leave only for Barcelona, and this has also left PSG out of options as keeping him on the bench would be a luxury as he is one of the highest-paid footballers in the world.

The European transfer window shuts on the 2nd of September, and Barcelona will have to find a way before that in order to bring back the mercurial Brazilian.
