The plane carrying the Bangladesh team will reach Christchurch, New Zealand on Wednesday afternoon.
They will play three ODIs and three T20Is there.
Bangladesh team will be in quarantine for 14 days after reaching there. After three days of complete isolation, Bangladesh cricketers will be able to start practicing among themselves.
After the 14-day quarantine period, the Tigers will be able to practice in full swing. There is also a possibility of a 5-day camp in Queenstown.
Much has been talked about before the series since the terrible series defeat against Windies in Test. Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has hinted at some long-term plans before the tour.
Ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan skipped the series to be with his wife who is expecting their third child. He has already flown to the USA.
The series will begin with ODIs on March 20 at Dunedin.
The Bangladesh cricket team "just escaped" the Christchurch mosque attack the last time they toured New Zealand back in 2019. The mosque was near to where the team was due to play the final Test match of their tour of New Zealand.
