Bangladesh scored 283/7 in the 5th and last match against Sri Lanka

Towhid Hridoy smashed his third century of the series to help Bangladesh get a big total against Sri Lanka in Chattogram. Two teams are facing each other in the last Youth ODI in Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium.

The hosts decided to bat first after winning the toss on Tuesday morning. Bangladesh were 58/2 when Towhid came to the crease. He blasted the Lankan bowlers to all parts of the ground and scored his third consecutive century of the series. Towhid fell for 111. His innings had 5 sixes and 3 fours. He is the first batsman in Youth ODIs to hit three consecutive centuries.

It is Towhid's 5th Youth ODI century. He has now equaled the record of India's Unmukt Chand, who also has 5 Youth ODI centuries. Pakistan's Sami Aslam is at the top of the list with 6.

Bangladesh have already secured the series against Sri Lanka by winning the second, third and fourth match of the series. First match was a washout.
