Taijul is the fastest among the Bangladeshi bowlers
Taijul Islam became only the third Bangladeshi bowler to scalp 100 wickets in Test matches.
The left arm spinner bowled Afghan opener Ihsanullah for 9 to reach the milestone, in the opening day of the one off Test match against Afghanistan in Chattogra.
Prior to Taijul, two other bowlers reached 100 wickets in Tests for Bangladesh.
Both of them were left arm spinners.
Mohammad Rafique reached the record first.
Current Tiger skipper Shakib Al Hasan, reached to a 100 wickets after him.
But Taijul is the fastest among the three.
Rafique had to play 33 and Shakib 28 Test matches to register the milestone.
Taijul touched it in 25 matches.
