Cricketers addressing media over strike
The players went on strike with 11 demands on Monday
Bangladesh cricketers are talking at a press conference today at the Six Seasons Hotel in Gulshan over their terms with the board.
The players went on strike with 11 demands on Monday and declared that they will no longer take part in any cricketing activity until their demands are met.
BCB officials asked the players to come and discuss the terms with them on Wednesday morning and said that they (BCB) were open to discuss with the players at any time.
BCB CEO Nizamuddin Chowdhury said on Wednesday morning that it was only a matter of time to solve the problem once they sat together.
BCB Head of Media Communications told that they were waiting for the players to come and discuss with BCB.
A fitness camp was supposed to start today but no players attended because of the strike.
No player has arrived in any of the National Cricket League (NCL) venues, even though the third round is supposed to start from tomorrow.
