Bangladesh started strong against Afghanistan, in the one off Test match in Chattogram.
The hosts playing with four specialist spinners strangled the tourists.
Rashid Khan who was standing in his first Test as a captain, won the toss in Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium and opted to bat first in a tricky wicket.
Bangladesh dominated the first hour by keeping the economy rate below par and picking up opener Ihsanullah, who scored 9 and fell to Taijul, and kept.
In the second hour Afghans lost two more wickets to Bangladeshi spinners.
Ibrahim Zadran became Taijul’s second scalp of the session. Zadran got out after scoring 25.
Tigers got their third wicket just at the stroke of lunch.
Veteran all-rounder Mahmudullah got rid of Hashmatullah Shahidi fell for 14, in his first over.
