City settle for a point after VAR drama

Champions League flashbacks!

Gabriel Jesus had netted the ball on the 92nd minute to grasp a winner, only for VAR to overturn it as Aymeric Laporte handled the ball.

City dominated the whole match and they can consider themselves unlucky for not getting maximum points out of the game.

Rahim Sterling opened the scoring on the 20th minute before Erik Lamela equalized three minutes later. Sergio Aguero then put the Citizens back in front on the 35th minute, but Spurs' UCL-hero Lucas Moura scored only 19 seconds after he came off the bench.

The drama eclipsed as Gabriel Jesus put the ball in the net in the second minute of stoppage time before VAR ruling out the goal as Laporte's hand touched the ball on it's way to Jesus.

Kevin De Bruyne was the man of the match, as he registered the assists of both the City goals.
