The third of the four-match Test series between Australia and India has taken a dramatic turn as Indian officials claimed that paceman Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj have been racially abused by people in the crowd, according to The Daily Telegraph.
After stumps on day three, the ICC and stadium security officers were seen discussing for a long time with Bumrah, Siraj and members of Indian team management.
Skipper Ajinkya Rahane was among senior players who spoke to the match and security officials.
It has been suggested that a crowd member at the Randwick end of the ground abused Siraj who was manning the fine-leg boundary.
Bumrah had a word with the security officials before leaving, so did Siraj. Match referee David Boon was also seen walking past India's dressing room.
