Bangladesh lead by 355 runs after the end of second day's play.
After Miraz's maiden Test hundred, it was Mustafizur Rahman with the ball. He picked up the two wickets of Windies early in the innings and pushed them on backfoot.
Shakib Al Hasan and Shadman Islam hobbled off the ground after showing signs of injury in the third session. Shakib's old groin injury seemed to have returned while Shadman got hurt while fielding.
However, West Indies have clung on gamely. Skipper Kraigg Brathwaite and Nkrumah Bonner safely played out the rest of the day's play. Windies are currently 75 for 2.

Mustafizur Rahman struck twice early in Windies innings. He sent back John Campbell and Shayne Moseley to pavilion with his fiery pace bowling. Both of them were trapped LBW.
Sharfuddoula Ibne Shahid Saikat who is standing on his first Test as an umpire is having some kind of tough times in the middle. His decision got overturned a few times and asked for a review on a few occasion already.
Mustafiz bagged 2 for 12 from his 7 overs.
Kraigg Brathwaite and Nkrumah Bonner are currently at the crease.

Mehidy Hasan Miraz bagged his first-ever Test ton. This is also his first-ever first-class hundred.
Miraz's hundred came off 160 balls where he struck 13 boundaries.
His previous best Test innings of 68* came against Zimbabwe back in 2018.
Spinner Nayeem Hasan supported Miraz pretty well in their 9th wicket partnership. Together they put 56 runs. Nayeem was dismissed by Nkrumah Bonner
on 24 off 46 deliveries.
This was Bonner's first Test wicket.
Bangladesh are currently 427 for 9.

Taijul Islam has gone back to the pavilion after scoring 18 off 72 balls. He and Miraz built a solid partnership of 44 runs in near 20 overs.
Pacer Shanon Gabriel broke the partnership.
Bangladesh are currently 365 for 8 and should eye for something around 400 which will be a huge first-innings total on this pitch.
Mehidy Hasan Miraz still going strong on 66 off 126 deliveries. He has kept this innings together after Shakib was dismissed just before lunch.

That's lunch on day 2. Bangladesh lost 2 wickets and bagged 85 runs in the first session of the day.
Bangladesh should be the happier of the two teams with how this morning session has unfolded.
Shakib followed his overnight partner Liton to the pavilion after reaching his 25th Test fifty. He stopped after scoring 68 off 150 balls. Rakheem Cornwall picked up the important wicket of the southpaw.
Despite Shakib's fifty Mehidy Hasan Miraz has perhaps been the hero of this session.
He is still hanging on batting at 46. He has seemed confident all through his innings so far.
Taijul Islam is his partner on the other end batting on 5.
With 328 on the board, Bangladesh will believe they now hold all the aces.

Shakib Al Hasan bagged his 25th Test fifty on his return to Test cricket. But he lost his overnight partner early in the morning.
Liton Kumar Das went back to the pavilion early in second day's play. Jomel Warrican picked up his 4th wicket as he sent back Liton in the third day of the day's play.
Liton bagged 38 before departing.
Mehidy Hasan Miraz joined Shakib at the crease.
Bangladesh finished day one on 242/5. Shakib and Liton remained unbeaten on 39 and 34 respectively. Shadman Islam picked up his second Test fifty.
Jomel Warrican picked up three wickets on the first day.
