Tigers will wear these jersey in the home series against the West Indies on the occasion of the golden jubilee of the country’s independence.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has unveiled a specially designed new jersey for the tigers, a press release said on Wednesday.

Tigers will wear these jersey in the home series against the West Indies on the occasion of the golden jubilee of the country's independence.

BCB kept the occasion of 50 year of Bangladesh in mind while designing the new jersey.

The remarkable jersey is designed red and green in tune with the country's flag, and included freedom fighters and martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the liberation war in 1971.

This unique jersey is made off Jacquard Fabric which has been used for the first time in any jersey of Bangladeshi sports.

Jacquard fabric is a type of cloth featuring an intricate pattern woven into the warp on a special mechanical loom, rather than printed on the surface.

This fabric is very durable, comfortable, resilient and wrinkle resistant. Same fabric is widely used by different European Giant football clubs namely Real Madrid, AC Milan, Manchester United etc.

Sports & Sportz, the authorized manufacturer and distributor of Bangladesh National Cricket Team jersey has handed the rights to Aadi BD Limited to commercially sell the special designed new jersey.

Aadi is the pioneer in cross-border b2c e-commerce platform focused on promoting Bangladesh and its strength in various industries at a global level.

Ms Fatima Begum, a successful entrepreneur launched aadibd.com to establish Bangladesh as a trusted brand for fashion to the rest of the world.
