BCB provides 23 other federations with assistance

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) President Nazmul Hassan handed over 501 cheques of Tk ten thousand each to State Minister for the Ministry of Youth & Sports Zahid Ahsan Russell on Wednesday as a part of the BCB's initiative to support sportspersons affected by the Covid-19 pandemic in the country.
The cheques were distributed to sportsmen and women of 23 sports federations under the National Sports Council other than cricket.
The Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) will be receiving the most among the federations as they will be handed 100 cheques. Bangladesh Hockey Federation will receive 50 cheques and Taekwando sportspersons will be receiving 30.
