Bangladesh WMN beat Pakistan WMN in WT20 warm up

Bangladesh won by a narrow margin of 5 runs.

Bangladesh Women's Team beat Pakistan Women's team in their second warm-up match by 5 runs.

This was their last warm-up before the tournament. 

Salma Khatun Captain of Bangladesh won the toss in Brisbane and decided to bat first.

Bangladesh were in trouble as they lost two quick wickets. Shamima was out for 3 and Sanjida got out without troubling the scorers.

Murshida Khatun and Nigar Sultana attempted to rebuild the innings. Nigar got out for 13.

Murshida was the highest scorer for Bangladesh with her 43.

Fargana Hoque scored 21. Bangladesh reached 111/8 in their 20 overs. 

In reply, Pakistan also lost early wickets. Controlled bowling from two experienced bowlers Jahanara and Salma made their batsmen struggle for runs.

Pakistan kept losing wickets at regular intervals. They needed 10 runs in the last over to win. At the end of the 19th over Pakistan were 102/8.

Jahanara Alam only gave away four runs and took two wickets as Bangladesh secured a victory of five runs.

Star opener Javeria Khan was their highest scorer with 41.
