Bangladesh A win last match to draw series

In a do-or-die match, Bangladesh A beat Afghanistan A by 62 runs in the final ODI to equalize the series 2-2. Naim Sheikh was adjudged man of the match for his knock of 126. 

Winning the toss, Afghan captain Nasir Jamal invited Bangladesh A to bat first. Skipper Imrul Kayes went early for 21 and Fazle Rabby returned soon after. Opener Naim Sheikh then put up a 80-run stand with Aminul Islam Biplob, before Biplob getting dismissed on 22. Youngster afif Hossain came in and took on the Afghan bowlers as he scored a scintillating 53 off 50 balls. But his dismissal started a collapse, even though Naim Sheikh stood still and picked up his century. But still, Bangladesh A scrambled their way to 262-9 at the end of 50 overs. 

In reply, Ibrahim Zadran fell early but Rahmunllah Gurbaz and Shahid Kamal put up a 56-run partnership to bring them back in the game. But this wicket started a landslide of wickets as they were reduced to 102-7 within the 26th over. Captain Nasir Jamal tried to force the Afghans to a win with the help of Sharafuddin Ashraf and Mirwais Ashraf, but those efforts went in vain as they were bowled out for 200. Yasin Arafat Mishu picked up three wickets whereas Aminul Islam Biplob and Shafiqul Islam picked up two wickets each. 

This means the series ends in a 2-2 draw, and happens to be a relief for Bangladesh as they had lost both of the first two games.
