Despite it being the opening of a long-awaited Bangladesh-India series, the air pollution of Delhi has taken centre stage instead of Cricket. Delhi's air currently is labelled as 'hazardous' and it has been said that any athletic activity in these circumstances may cause irreversible damage to the physical condition of the players.

Bangladesh have opted for a batting-heavy lineup with a few genuine bowlers. India on the other hand, have gone with a balance of youth and experience.
