Soumya Sarkar, Sheikh Mehedi Hasan, Yeasin Arafat, and Abu Hider Rony has been dropped from the side.

Bangladesh have announced their squad for their upcoming two matches in the 'OBHAI Tri-nation T20 series'.

Soumya Sarkar, Sheikh Mehedi Hasan, Yeasin Arafat, and Abu Hider Rony has been dropped from the side with Rubel Hossain, Shafiul Islam, Aminul Biplob, Nayeem Sheikh and Nazmul Hossain Shanto being called up to replace them.

Soumya Sarkar has been lackluster since the World Cup in England and he only managed to score two runs in the first two matches of the series, including a golden duck against Afghanistan.

Yeasin Arafat is carrying a side strain which has pushed him out of the team, but the other two players excluded, Rony and Mehedi, didn't even get the chance to play in the first two matches.

Nayeem Sheikh is the possible replacement for Soumya, whereas Rubel and Shafiul come in to replace Yeasin. Shanto and Aminul are there to settle the clueless Bangladesh batting order, with Aminul having some prowess in leg-spin.

Bangladesh will face Zimbabwe on September 18 in the first match of the second part of the tournament at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium.
