Bangabandhu T20 Cup begins from November 24

The league stage of the tournament will be held from November 24 to December 12. Teams will face each other twice in the league stage. In the league stage, teams will play four day games and an equal number of night games. 

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced the schedule for the upcoming Twenty20 tournament called Bangabandhu T20 Cup. The tournament will begin on November 24.

The league stage of the tournament will be held from November 24 to December 12. Teams will face each other twice in the league stage. In the league stage, teams will play four day games and an equal number of night games. 

The playoffs will begin on December 14. The teams ranked first and second in the points table will get two opportunities to qualify for the final. The third and fourth teams in the points table will face off on November 14 in the day game in the first eliminator. In the evening on the same day, the first two sides will lock horns. The winner of this game will directly qualify for the final while the loser of the match will face the winner of the first eliminator for a place in the final.

The final of the tournament will take place on December 18. There will be a reserve day for the final.

The day games will begin at 1.30 pm local time while the evening games will start at 6.30 pm. The matches on Fridays will begin 30 minutes late.

Beximco Dhaka will lock horns with Minister Group Rajshahi in the curtain-raiser of the tournament at 1.30 pm on November 24. In the evening game, Fortune Barishal will play Gemcon Khulna. Gazi Group Chattogram will begin their campaign a couple of days later on November 26 where they will face Beximco Dhaka in the evening game.

All the matches will be held at the Sher-E-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur.
