Bangabandhu Memorial Cricket Tournament 2020 held in Vienna

Bangladesh Embassy in Austria organised the "Bangabandhu Memorial Cricket Tournament 2020" on August 2 and August 10 at the Seebarn Cricket Ground in Vienna as part of various events throughout the year to mark the 100th birth anniversary of the country's founding father, Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

A total of 6 teams participated in this tournament organised in collaboration with Bangladesh Cricket Club Austria. Greater Noakhali Kings became champion defeating Mohammedan Sporting Club by 38 runs in the final match of the tournament, says a press release issued by the Embassy and the Permanent Mission of Bangladesh Vienna on August 10.  

Muhammad Abdul Muhith, Bangladesh ambassador to Austria, distributed prizes among the players of the participating teams, including the winning team.
