A list of Ballon D'Or rankings was reportedly leaked online ahead of the awards ceremony on December 2 (Monday), according to a report in the Mirror.
Lionel Messi is considered as the favourite to win the award for a record sixth time, but the leak shows competition from Liverpool's Virgil van Dijk.
In an image widely shared on social media, the Barcelona forward is seen at the top of the table with 446 points. Van Dijk's came second with 382 points.
The voting for the award has already been cast, but it is unclear whether the list is official or not.
Liverpool's Mohamed Salah is listed third, ahead of five-time winner Cristiano Ronaldo.
