Arambagh KS crush Brothers Union 5-2

Arambagh Krira Sangha crushed Brothers Union FC by 5-2 goals in their last match of the ongoing 13-team Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football at the floodlit Bangabandhu National Stadium here on Friday.

In the goal-fest match, Nigerian striker Matthew Chinedu made his hat-trick scoring three goals in the 20th, 24th and 43rd minutes while Cameroonian forward Paul Emile Biyaga netted the rest two goals for Arambagh KS in the 12th and 37th minute.

On the other hand, South Korean midfielder Jae-Hyeong Park and midfielder Mannaf Rabby scored one goal each for Brothers Union in the 3rd and 72nd minute respectively.

With day’s well-merited win, Arambagh KS finished 5th securing 33 points from all 24 matches while Brothers Union finished 11th with their previous credit of 21 points from all 24 matches.

In day’s other match, a hat-trick by Nigerian striker Raphael Odovin Onwrebe helped Sheikh Russel KC to earn a comfortable 3-1 goals victory over bottom-placed Team BJMC at the floodlit Sylhet District Stadium.

Nigerian Striker Eleta Kingsley Oshiokha netted the first goal for Team BJMC in the 31st minute.

Coming from behind 0-1, upper-ranked Sheikh Russel KC managed 3-1 goals victory over Team BJMC while Raphael Odovin Onwrebe completed his hat-trick netting three goals in the 36th, 45th and 78th minutes respectively. 

With the day’s outcome, Raphael Odovin Onwrebe finished 2nd in the top scorer list of BPL 2018-19 season scoring 19 goals, one goal behind form his compatriot Sunday Chizoba of Dhaka Abahani Ltd (20 goals).

With day’s win, Sheikh Russel KC finished 3rd in the BPL league securing 52 points from all 24 matches while Team BJMC finished 13th with their previous collection of 11 points from all 24 encounters.
