7 members of Abahani contingent test positive for Covid-19

Just before the start of Premier Football League, the Abahani Ltd. camp has been struck by Covid-19, with seven members including five footballers testing positive.

The results of assistant coach Jakaria Babu and ball boy Mohammad Emon have come out positive as well. The news has been confirmed to The Business Standard (TBS) by Abahani team manager Satyajit Das Rupu.
According to the instructions of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF), the entire Abahani contingent underwent Covid-19 screening and seven members tested positive.

"Seven members of our team have tested positive for Covid-19. But everyone is asymptotic," said Rupu.
Premier Football League of the 2020-21 season is set to begin from Wednesday.
