Sabrina Carpenter releases Man’s Best Friend
Sabrina Carpenter has released her seventh studio album, 'Man's Best Friend', on Friday, marking another milestone in her fast-rising career. The 12-track project, produced by Jack Antonoff and released via Island Records, features lead single 'Manchild' and 'Tears', which arrived with a music video the same day as the album.
The Grammy winner's previous record, Short n' Sweet (2024), topped the Billboard 200 for four weeks and included global hits Espresso and Please Please Please. With Man's Best Friend, Carpenter continues to push bold lyrical boundaries, blending humour and provocation with double entendres.
Speaking on CBS Mornings, Carpenter acknowledged criticism of the album's explicit themes and cover art, but insisted the record is meant to be "fun." To celebrate the release, Spotify hosted a fan party at Hollywood Forever Cemetery.
