New 2D Terminator game brings ‘90s Arcade action
Bitmap Bureau has announced Terminator 2: No Fate, a retro-inspired 2D side-scrolling action game based on Terminator 2: Judgment Day. The game will be released on 5 September 2025, reinventing the film's iconic moments while incorporating deleted and unfilmed scenes.
Inspired by classic arcade games like Super Contra and Rolling Thunder, No Fate showcases intense pixel-art action. The teaser reveals Sarah Connor battling in Nicaragua, a high-speed motorcycle chase with John Connor and the T-800, and a pivotal choice to assassinate Miles Dyson. With multiple endings and original scenarios, the game aims to deliver the T2 adaptation fans should have had in the '90s.
