Aziz Ahmed speaks on AI at EU Parliament

Aziz Ahmed, co-founder & chief strategist of CodersTrust Bangladesh, spoke on Artificial Intelligence ( AI) policy framework during a high-level digital union.

The meetup titled ''Renew Europe'' was hosted by the European Parliament in Brussels on Wednesday November 20, said a press release. 

Dragos Tudorache, member of European Parliament (MEP), Andrus Ansip, member of the European Parliament and former Prime Minister of Estonia, Dacian Ciolos, president of Renew Europe and former Prime Minister of Romania, Stephane Sejourne, Fr. Augusto Zampini, Vatican City were present among other high-ranking guests. 

The meetup titled ''Renew Europe'' focused on consultation on Artificial Intelligence where the participants discussed how Artificial Intelligence can transform thinking processes, protect citizens' values and also grow an economy.

In his speech, Ahmad said it is imperative to have AI framework to make sure it works with full potential for humanity and society. The framework needs to include the skill-readiness, governance and compliance, and global adoption & consumability by everyone equally. 

He also said that the United Nations SDGs need to be guardrail for our endeavor into the AI deployment for strategic achievement with five- and ten-year target goals.
