2-day Science Fair kicks off in Chattogram

Students of schools and colleges of the Chattogram division are displaying 84 projects at the fair 

A two-day-long divisional level Science Fair has begun for the sixth time in Chattogram on Friday with the participation of a total of 102 educational institutions and other organisations. 

Chattogram Divisional Commissioner Md Abdul Mannan inaugurated the fair at St Placid's School and College in the port city. 

Students of schools and colleges are displaying a total of 84 projects at the fair, featuring their inventions on combating climate change, facilitating daily life through modern technology and so on.

A total of 90 educational institutions from 11 districts and Chattogram Metropolitan city and 12 oraganisations in the division are taking part in the fair. 

Institutions, who achieved first position from three groups like junior, senior and special at district level, are participating in the fair.

The fair was jointly organized by the Chattogram Divisional Commissioner's office, Science and Technology Development Trust, and Ministry of Science and Technology.
