Stock runs a positive trend
Beximco Ltd secured the apex position on the DSE turnover chart, followed by Robi, Prime Bank, and IFIC Bank.
The indices of both stock exchanges have increased during the first two hours of the session opening on Monday.
In the first two hours of the trading session today, DSEX, the key index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), rose by 0.56% or 32.79 points to 5,845.96.
DSE turnover, a significant market indicator, stood at Tk954.86 crore till 12:03 pm.
Beximco Ltd secured the apex position on the DSE turnover chart, followed by Robi, Prime Bank, and IFIC Bank.
The share price of Asia Insurance, Meghna Condensed Milk, Prime Bank, NRBC Bank, Meghna Pet and Shurwid Industries rose above 9%.
During the corresponding period, DSE had 157 gainers against 165 losers, while prices of 43 scrips remained unchanged.
The benchmark index CASPI at the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) gained 81 points to 16,929 till 12:03 pm.
During the period, CSE had 126 gainers against 125 losers, while prices of 24 scrips remained unchanged.
