Gold price rises by Tk2,333 per bhori

The Bangladesh Jewellers Samity (BAJUS) has increased the price of gold by Tk2,333 per bhori.

According to a BAJUS release issued on Saturday (12 November), the new rate will be effective from Sunday. 

With the new rate, the 22-carat gold will cost Tk82,465 per bhori, 21-carat Tk78,732 and 18-carat Tk67,477. 

However, the price of silver remained the same. 

On 24 October last, the price of the precious metal decreased by Tk1,166 per bhori.
