Purpose:

Manage and responsible for enterprise grade large network where multiple locations are connected with optical Fiber and High speed LAN for over thousand users.

The first Aga Khan Academy opened in Mombasa, Kenya in 2003, the second in Hyderabad, India in 2011, the third in Maputo, Mozambique in 2013, and the network is now expanding with the fourth Academy in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Main responsibilities:

• Manage Data Center/ Server room/ HUB room environment and efficiently manage load balance/ failover between multiple WAN/ LAN
• Ensure best availability of IT infrastructure in terms of Local Network, Internet, Servers, cloud and other IT resources which are controlled by local IT team.
• Ensure timely updates and identify if there is any system glitch or vulnerability
• Regularly check network utilization, Server resource utilization, MRTG and send report accordingly
• Maintain the Cyber security compliance of IT infrastructure and implement best practices, be align with the ICT policy and having reediness of VAPT.
• Provide any kind of IT related support/ assistance to end user.
• Manage and troubleshoot Active network equipment such as: Firewall, Router, L3 switch, ACL control, Wi-Fi controller, AP, etc.
• Vendor management for IT equipment repair, troubleshoot, installation etc.
• Install and configure software, hardware, and network equipment as per infrastructure required
• Manage and troubleshoot on premises Windows/ Linux servers as per required. Server Virtualization in ESXI / Hyper-V.
• Administration, troubleshoot, monitor CCTV Cameras, NVR, Biometric attendance system and other modern surveillance technologies
• Ensure backup of Firewall, Switch, Servers and any other related System / Data
• Manage Microsoft 365 platform and Windows licensing, Secured Print Server etc

SPECIFICATIONS (Candidate profile):

Required Attributes:

• Cross functional team collaboration and formal communication
• Ability to take new challenges, learn technologies and mindset to go deeper until solution
• Positive mindset to obtain the result: can explain and also understand other's explanation
• Can take the ownership, responsibilities and can perform on a team as well as individually
•  
• Clear concept of Computer networks, Routing, NAT, Next gen Firewall, Load balancer, MRTG, ACL, proxy, Layer-3 Switches and any other required technology to manage a large Enterprise network
• Windows Server, Microsoft 365 operation & Microsoft cloud technologies along with PowerShell experience.
• 8-10 years of System/ Network Administration experience including Server room management and large infrastructure management
• Experience of IT equipment inventory is needed, project management experience is good to have

Education:

• B.Sc/ M.Sc in Computer Science/ relevant subject

Valued additional assets:

• Clear understanding of System & Networks is required, any relevant vendor certifications and experience with CISCO/ Extreme network equipment is preferred.
• Linux & Mac OS experience is good to have. Experience with ICT drawing and understanding of network architecture is required
