We are looking for a  SME Officer (SPO/FAVP) having following requirements to strengthen the SME portfolio.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead SME banking division to develop own SME portfolio and ensure effective coordination with the branches to boost up SME business.
  • Design, plan and formulate strategies to achieve SME business goals.
  • Monitor proper utilization of investment facilities in SME accounts and maintain the quality of risk assets and ensure periodic review of the facilities.
  • Assess customer investment applications using a range of criteria including purpose of application, investment viability, customer payment history, customer credit-worthiness etc.
  • Monitor Non Performing SME Investment and decide on appropriate strategies and plan to liaise with recovery activities.
  • Implement the policy, guidelines, and circular of Bangladesh Bank related to SME business.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and submit reports related to SME business.
  • Visit SME customers to understand investment viability.
  • Any other jobs assigned by the Company/Institution.  

Key Qualifications:

  • Post-Graduation preferably in Banking & Finance/ Marketing/ Economics/ Business Administration or other related discipline from a reputed university.
  • Minimum 7 years' of experience in any bank or financial institution with sufficient experience in SME sector.
  • Knowledge on regulatory framework and guidelines on SME business.
  • Must have good network of SME clients.
  • In-depth knowledge on SME products, client management, compliance requirements, and operations.
  • Good analytical skills as well as sound computer literacy.
  • Age should not be more than 45 years as at the time of application.
