Senior Research Associate - CPD

Position: Senior Research Associate (SRA)

The Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD) invites applications from promising researchers who are keen to pursue an intellectually challenging career in development research. The applicant should possess sound qualitative and quantitative analytical skills. S/he will have a strong and demonstrated interest in methods of application of quantitative tools and techniques and will be keen to further sharpen their skills in these areas. The ideal candidate will have a good grasp of theoretical and conceptual issues in areas of macroeconomics and regional and global integration in developing country settings. If selected, the candidate will benefit from policy exposure at CPD in a broad range of areas including macroeconomic and fiscal management and international development.

The candidate must have strong analytical abilities, excellent drafting skills in English, good networking skills and high computer literacy. The applicant should be highly motivated and committed, and must be capable of displaying learning ability and a capacity to work effectively as a team player.

The successful candidate will have a Post graduate/Masters degree in Economics from a reputed university. A minimum CGPA of 3.60 is required. Additionally, the candidate should have more than two years of relevant research experience at recognised institutions and publications in peer reviewed journals. These requirements may be relaxed in case of candidates with foreign Master's degree and publication(s) in reputed journals.

A consolidate salary in the range of Taka 55,000-75,000 per month will be offered to the successful candidate, along with other admissible benefits. Actual compensation package will be based on candidate's qualifications, experience and suitability.
