Job Responsibilities
The Risk and Compliance Coordinator is responsible for supporting the CO's efforts to effectively manage risks; promoting a risk management culture within the CO through training and communication; for supporting the Country Director (CD) in ensuring the CO's compliance within high-risk areas and in areas not specific to a given function such as Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA), Data Protection (DPR), Code of Conduct, Securing Supporting Documentation, COTER and sanctions. The Coordinator will also facilitate the response to whistleblowing and reports of suspected corruption or misconduct relating to the CO's work or staff.
Employment Status: Contractual
Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree in relevant field e.g. business administration, accounting, finance.
Experience Requirements: At least 3 year(s)
Additional Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in compliance, auditing or risk management functions or minimum 3 years of experience working in coordinator positions in support functions (Finance, logistics, HR) in the humanitarian sector.
- Documented results related to the position's responsibilities.
- Knowledge and skills in the international regulatory context applicable for INGOs.
- Knowledge and skills in any of the following: safeguarding, accountability to affected populations or Code of Conduct related matters.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
- Valid driver's licence.
