Program Manager - SKS Foundation

SKS Foundation in partnership with CARE Bangladesh is going to implement the SHOUHARDO-III Plus program in Gaibandha & Sirajgonj and SHOUHARDO-III DRR Program in Gaibandha District. Following position will be recruited for implementing the programs interventions:

Program Manager-[SHO III Plus & DRR] (1 position)

Monthly salary Tk. 65,008/- (Shared position for Gaibandha and Sirajganj areas)

Required Qualification & Competencies: Master's degree in any discipline; preference will be given to post graduate degree in Social Science and/or Development Studies. At least 10 years' working experience in any National/International NGO; and at least 05 years' experience in similar position, particularly in DRR & Resilience, Agriculture & Livelihood and Nutrition, WaSH projects. Having clear understanding on the context of flood prone areas, DRR and Resilience, Agriculture, Livelihoods and Nutrition project dynamics integrating women empowerment, youth, private sector, market engagement and financial inclusion. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bengali. Computer skill on MS word, excel, power point, virtual communication (zoom, teams etc.) Should have valid Motorcycle Driving License.

Responsibilities: Responsible for timely and quality implementation on behalf of the organization: plinth raising at HH and community level, Shelter repair and maintenance work, participant's training and input distribution, FPP volunteers' selection and capacity building; Local Service Provider's (LSPs) capacity building, community mobilization; coordination with stakeholders and reporting. Capacity development of project staffs. Guide and support program staffs, LSPs and volunteers to implement program intervention effectively. Supervise all field level activities to ensure that all staffs are working according to the project work plan. S/he will be responsible for local level coordination to ensure community and administration's buy-in; provide systematic feedback for smooth implementation of program activities in all the targeted Unions and Upazilas. Responsible for supporting the preparation and full implementation of the Monitoring Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Plan and Environmental Mitigation and Management Plan (EMMP) and Climate Risk Management Plan (CMP). Responsible for timely reporting (narrative, financial and MEL) and ensuring environmental, quality control and administrative/ financial compliance of the donor. Responsible for program planning (annual, quarterly and monthly plans), implementation, budgeting, financial management, staff management, report writing and monitoring & evaluation. Maintain regular liaison with concerned personnel of CARE BD SHOU III DRR and Regional Program Coordinator-Operation to plan and implement all activities and timely and adequate donor reporting.
